I've interviewed subject matter experts, edited, and written Insight articles and case studies. I've collaborated with design consultants on a wide range of internal and external branding. Additionally, I track upcoming conferences, respond to calls for speakers, and create promotional material. I also have grown Linea’s profile utilizing social media platforms and inbound marketing tools.
Legal Communications & Marketing Specialist,
Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC
During my tenure, I handled many projects for Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, a media and telecommunications focused law firm in the Washington, DC area. On the creative side, I edited and published CommLawBlog, the firm’s resource for clients, prospective clients, and the general public. I have also ghostwritten articles on everything from FCC policy updates to press releases announcing new members. I created and distributed the monthly Memorandum to Clients, targeted to key stakeholders in the media and telecommunications industries and to the firm's nearly 3000 newsletter subscribers on Constant Contact. Among other tasks, I designed and wrote copy for advertisements displayed at firm-sponsored events.
I introduced data collection to the firm's marketing effort through a weekly analytics report on blog performance, social media engagement, and attorney web page views. I promoted, set up, and filmed effective webinars for clients, as well as prepared continuing legal education (CLE) presentations. I successfully boosted the firm’s presence with multiple winning campaigns for highly-trusted institutions, including US News & World Report and Chambers & Partners.

Assistant to the Director,
Georgetown Residential Ministry
This job taught me a lot about handling administrative communications and logistical planning. In this role I was in charge of overseeing Chaplains weekly emails to students and checking their monthly logs. In addition, I scheduled the Director’s calendar, handled the planning for meetings, and secured purchases on their behalf. In coordination with Georgetown's Financial Services, I monitored and tracked the budget of over 20 Chaplains (totaling more than $50,000), and provided them with their updated budget every month.
My most important task was writing and overseeing the semester evaluations. I would write and distribute questions evaluating the performance of Chaplains. After, I would distill key insights for each chaplain and send them to the Director. This is confidential information and I was respectful of the privacy of those who supplied the data.
Founder, Phoenix Pioneer Products
I bring an entrepreneurial spirit to every task I undertake. I partnered with my friend, an engineer at the Geneseo Power Plant, who wanted to design a compression machine that would upcycle waste into products such as fire-starter logs and compost pucks. I handled the business side, and after I won an early pitch competition, 3 other students joined the team and I led them through the business plan creation process.
I alpha-tested the product, conducted market research, and interviewed sales representatives from Ace Hardware and Lehman's. We participated in the New York State Business Plan Competition, where we took home 2nd place and $5,000, which went towards a provisional patent and development. The following summer I worked to find a suitable manufacturing contract. However, when we realized it would require a significant financial investment from us just as I was moving to D.C. for graduate school, we decided that we had taken the idea as far as we could.

Digital Political Communications, The RAC
After working on a political campaign my first summer of graduate school, I wanted to experience how other types of political action take place. The RAC is an organization I had grown up hearing about from my parents and members of the Jewish community. Lately, they have been doing important work to protect refugees and end massive economic inequality.
Most of my work consisted of iterating their website in Drupal, writing and editing blogs from congregants, and assisting with social media content creation and curation. In addition, I prepared detailed analytics reports for the Communications staff. We moved at an exceptionally fast clip. The RAC represents every reform congregation in North America, so it was important to be detail oriented and present deliverables on schedule.

Digital Marketing, Dreame
In my junior year at SUNY Geneseo I had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Collegiate Leadership Internship Program (CLIP) sponsored by the Bronfman Center at New York University. I lived in Tel Aviv and worked for an art focused startup to build their brand. Dreame sells customized art created by artists all over the globe.
In my role I analyzed data and built customer profiles based on who had already purchased a painting through Google Analytics. With these metrics, Dreame was able to better target possible consumers and improve their conversion rate.
